Sovael Design Lab · Concept Gallery

Twenty ways to sell the same brain.

Twenty radically different concepts for Sovael's products. Series one: four reskins of the homepage narrative and four consultative-sales / CRO stories. Series two: one page in the style of each of history's greatest copywriters. Series three: four pages for the WordPress Site Manager plugin — two copy-heavy homages, two PR/glamour showpieces. None of these replace production pages — click any panel to open that variant live.

Reskin — same story, new design Narrative — new story, CRO-built Template-style — proven patterns Artistic freedom — no template Copywriter series — history's greats WP Plugin — the Site Manager product
Every panel can carry more than one tag — e.g. a homepage narrative that also sells the answering service.

Series Two — The Copywriters

Eight pages, eight masters of the word.

Each homage applies a copywriting legend's actual principles — soft sell, the sales letter, satire, scientific advertising, salesmanship, plain truth, the USP, British wit — to Sovael's offer. Design is era-flavoured, with modern landing best practice (hero visual, social proof, objection handling, single CTA) built in.

C1 Calkins preview
CopywriterSoft sell

C1 · Calkins — "The best firms simply are"

Earnest Elmo Calkins' soft sell: suggestion, taste, atmosphere. Ivory-and-navy editorial design, an abstract "composition in patience" hero, quiet promises instead of features. For buyers who hate being sold to.

C2 Collier preview
CopywriterDirect mail letter

C2 · Collier — "A Letter to the Owner of a Fine Firm"

C3 Freberg preview
CopywriterSatire

C3 · Freberg — "The Agent That Refuses to Be Boring"

Stan Freberg's satire: comedy as the carrier for truth. Comic-strip panels, "statistics we made up (but trust us)", fine print gags — and a real guarantee buried in the jokes. Yellow/red/blue pop with thick ink outlines.
